Happy Easter 09

We had such a great Easter. We had dinner out at my parents house and had an Easter egg hunt for all the kids. (there's no better place to have an egg hunt than at the fort!) The cousins had a great time together!

Hello 2009...it's good to be back!

Happy New Year everyone! The studio has been closed for 3 weeks and it's good to be back. We took a much needed family vacation to Palm Springs, CA. and had such a great time. We lived there for 4 years, so it was nice to go back and see old friends, not to mention the 70 degree weather! It was great to spend quality time with our family without the nagging feeling of "you have so much to get done in Photoshop, get to your computer NOW"! It was truly refreshing!

I also had time to reflect on 2008 and what a wonderful and blessed year it was for my family. I Love photography and am very passionate about it. I truly feel blessed to be following my dream. Thanks Barlow for your love and support. How can it get any better than to run your own business with the person you love most in this world, not to mention he's the most creative and talented person I know!

It's that time again...

Oh, how I love to shoot my own children. It is honestly the most painful thing, but we did it and it's over! :) I have to say they were troopers considering it was so stinkn' cold outside. Good job girls. I love you!

It's about time..

So, Barlow and I have been in this debate on who's turn it is to groom the dog. Meanwhile, poor Joey was getting so stinky! Barlow knows I usually take care of the dog, he just kept holding out knowing that I would not be able to stand it anymore and then I would bathe him. So, finally yesterday I gave Barlow the option that he either bathe Joey or I would rub Joey's butt on his pillow. We'll it worked I got home from a shoot yesterday this is what I saw! You clean up nice Joey!

Barlow's heading to the Univeristy of Utah to get his Masters Degree!

It's official! Barlow was accepted to the U to get his Masters! Poor guy is wondering if school will ever really end, who can blame him. Good job Babe! I'm really excited, but have to admit, I'm not looking forward to him being gone day and night for the next 3 1/2 years. Yikes!
